Shopping Cart Promotions & Coupons

1. Open the promotions tab and click the  ADD  button at the top of the screen.

2. Fill in the promotion information:

• Name: This will be shown internally and at the bottom of the customer's cart.
• Status: Active or Disabled
• Dates Available: Choose the period the promotion will be active. Leave blank if no dates are applicable. 
• Promotion Type: Choose "Cart Promotion/Coupon"
• Discount Type:
  • Flat Discount on Entire Order: This will take a flat dollar amount off the total cart. 
  • Free Shipping: This would adjust shipping at checkout to 0.
  • Discount for Specific Products: This will only apply the discount to products you specify in the conditions. It can be a dollar amount or a percentage.
  • Discount for Each Product: This will be a discount off ALL products in the cart. It can be a dollar amount or a percentage.
• Discount Rule:
  • Free Shipping: Choose the shipping method you wish to apply at checkout.
  • Discount for Specific Products: Choose a flat dollar amount or a percent.
  • Discount for Each Product: Choose a flat dollar amount or a percent.
  • Discount Amount: Enter the amount

3. Click the  ADD CONDITION  button. You can add as many conditions as you need.

• Coupon Code: A code is required at checkout to activate the discount. Enter the discount code to the right.
• Specific Products: Use the button to the right to choose which products are included in the promotion.
• Number of Usages: Limit the number of total uses by entering a maximum amount to the right.
• Once per Customer: Limits the amount of times a single customer can use the promotion.
• Subtotal of Shop's Products: to activate the promotion AFTER the customer's cart total is a certain amount. (example: Free Shipping Over $35)

4. When finished, click Save.
